Butcher fees are included in our pricing. We don’t like guesswork. So, that is why we include the butcher’s fees in our pricing for your convience. Some farms sell livestock by the hanging weight and then let you pay the butcher their fees after it’s done. We don’t want our clients to feel unsure about what the final price is. We weigh our livestock often before harvesting. Which gives us the ability to provide accurate upfront pricing.

Delivery within 125 miles of Richmond, KY is included in our pricing. For distances greater than 125 miles, a mileage fee will be applied at $2.25/ per mile

FAQ

When will my order be ready?

Estimated 14-25 days after the harvest date.

Question: Do you require a deposit?

Answer: Yes, 50% down is required at booking. The remaining 50% of your balance is due 5 business days before the butcher date. We will communicate that butcher date to you when you book your order. There is a different protocol for clients on extended payment plans.

Question: Can I cancel my bulk purchase?

Answer: We do not honor refunds and all sales are final. If you are on a payment plan. You will be expected to pay in full.

Question: Do you offer refunds in general?

Answer: No. All sales are final.

Question: How much freezer space do I need?

Answer:

Whole beef: 16 cubic feet

Half beef: 8 cubic feet

Quarter beef: 6 cubic feet.

Whole hog: 8 cubic feet

Half hog: 8 cubic feet

Whole lamb: 6 cubic feet

Question: How is the meat packaged and is it frozen?

Answer: All of our meat is vacuum-sealed and frozen by our trusted third-party butchers.

Question: Where are your butchers?

Answer: We have two butchers. E.A. Biggs in Smith Grove, KY. Trackside Butcher Shoppe in Campbellsburg, KY.

Question: Does farm fresh meat taste different than store-bought?

Answer: In short, yes! Farm fresh meat is packed with more flavor and better texture. When you purchase from our farm. You are getting 100% real meat. None of that junk from big box stores with stuff on the label that you have to Google to figure out what it is!

Question: How much of each cut do I get from a bulk purchase? (# of ribeyes, # of pork chops, etc.)

Answer: This question is difficult to answer. Each animal has a different total once harvested. We can tell you the total amount as listed above. However, there is no possible way for us to calculate individual cuts of meat before harvesting.
